We are hiring those who need life skills and job skills. We provide housing with our jobs, food and a way to get to work each day. We prefer those currently on probation but do not require it but we do require you to take a weekly drug test. We do not allow alcohol at our properties and no smoking within the residence. Both Men and Women may apply, you will be assigned a room with someone of your own birth sex. THE WORK: You will start out working directly for our company in the construction industry. We will teach you a trade, provide tools you need and help you get from not having a trade to being a skilled person who can earn more money. We are currently hiring to train drywall people and tile setters. You must be physically able to perform the work. PAY: You are paid $480 per week, less food and board. There are two people per bedroom. You are charged $150 per week for the room which includes utilities and cable. The common area has a TV, plates, pots, pans and everything you need. You are also provided 3 meals per day. The meals are prepared by residents; thus you will be required to prepare meals from time to time. This is NOT charity. You are expected to work and work hard each day. Failure to do so will result in your being terminated and losing your place to live. THE PROPERTY: The concept of the property is simple, we are trying to help you move on to being something better in life. You are required to work five days per week, Monday through Friday. You are required to attend breakfast with all residents and dinner unless working a shift. You are required to be in the house by 9 p.m. each day. You may not have overnight visitors. As you learn a trade you will be paid more money. As you learn more trades you will be paid enough to move out of this house and hopefully into your own apartment or other properties we own, for example into a private room at another property that also has a pool and larger rec area. Other Opportunities: We provide monthly training classes on construction and even business techniques. Drywall classes, framing, electrical, plumbing, general contracting and even sales and business. Each class is taught by either real tradespeople or businesspeople. Classes are held one Saturday per month. You are NOT required to attend. We also teach classes on home buying, money management and other life skills. What to expect: We will teach you a trade, so you can become a skilled worker within our firm. We work on our own residential projects. Our goal is to turn you into a master at your craft and pay you as such and teach you skills that perhaps you can move on to work at other companies or start your own. For example, skilled drywall workers earn up to $30 per hour in our current market. Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, HVAC techs can earn $35 per hour, foreman can easily earn $35+ per hour, project managers $100K per year and much more. Construction company owners of larger companies $100-$500K per year and much more. Good trades people move up fast. If you show up to work each day, clean and sober, you will advance. If you master a craft you can move up very quickly and will always have a job. Everyone starts out as a helper, 85% of those helpers never really become a true journeyman, the 15% who do end up having great lives with houses, cars and families.
