DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other heavy equipment Load customer vehicles with regard to the safety of the customer and their vehicle Load and unload commercial and company trucks Be aware of safety hazards in warehouse, and report any observed issues to management Work effectively with other employees by accepting, completing, and handing off tasks Prepare customer orders and transfers for shipment Pack orders accurately and fill out warehouse paperwork completely Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse, parking lots, and loading areas Dismantle shipping bundles and crates, and dispose of debris appropriately MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1+ year of recent warehouse experience, preferred Ability to stand for long periods of time, crouch, bend, use of fingers and limbs, etc. Must be able to lift 75lbs Basic math skills – adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance Wear steel-toed boots and a mask (for covid) for the entirety of the shift Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment criminal background check, drug screen, and/or driving history review, in accordance with all laws and ordinances.
