Found big dog

Stassney near Gobi, Austin TX

Description

I found this big guy wandering the streets near Stassney and Emerald Forest on 05/10/21. He's very timid but sweet. I took him to the vet, they couldn't find a chip. Not sure what his breed is...but boy is he big! He seems well fed so I bet someone is missing him. I filed a report on 311, posted on Nextdoor, r/austin, and Facebook. My next step is to post flyers in the area but the coming rain is going to make that difficult. I can't keep him for too long but he's safe here in the meantime. Please email me if you recognize this pup. If you're going to claim him, you will need to answer some questions about him for verification of ownership.
