We are shaking up the waste recycling and junk removal industry and are building a team of like-minded individuals who value clean environment and hard work. The company is owned and run by a dynamic duo husband/wife team who - with passion, dedication and commitment - took a smart idea and birthed it into a six figure business in less than three years. Scrap-It! is looking for someone who knows when to take charge or follow direction. What you'll be doing as a driver, mover and junk removal specialist is: Customer Service: Amazing every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent service. Truck Operations: Safe loading and driving of Scrap-It! trucks with other team members (valid driver's license required). Junk Removal: Heavy and light lifting required for removal of "junk" from residential and commercial client locations (i.e. furniture, appliances, recyclables, debris and garage junk). Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you encounter. Sales: Providing estimates to customers and educating them on how we safely dispose of, recycle, or donate what we can to keep as much out of landfills as possible. Because we care about our planet. Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent, efficient loading/unloading of customers' belongings. We are recruiting for people who are looking for physical work (even for the summer) that may even be somewhat strenuous. But it's not just physical, there is potential to grow into sales or admin positions for the right person. We are adapting a technology app to our work so we are a small local company looking to provide opportunity AS we grow. Qualifications/Requirements: -We are always uniformed. We provide you with what you need to represent Scrap-It! and make a great impression. -We bring a great attitude to everything we do. -You are hardworking -You have a valid driver's license -You're 21+ years of age (for insurance) -You have the physical stamina to lift/carry 50+ lbs repeatedly. -Previous experience in general labor, customer service or sales is a plus, but isn't required. -We train happy, hard-working individuals.
