Environmental Project Manager Searching for full time team member to add to the SMAF Environmental team to work in our office in Prineville, Oregon! This position provides administrative support during emergency response events and general projects including oil/fuel spills such as truck rollovers, railcar derailments, and biohazard decontamination to name a few. The project manager assists the director and hazmat technicians, ensures the job is completed, and submits reports/invoicing to ensure each incident is closed in a timely manner. Qualifications:   Must have two years of applicable experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience with any of the following:  Environmental cleanup Biohazards Other related fields such as: Waste disposal Spill management Emergency response Excavation Trucking Additional Qualifications:   Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required For Immediate Consideration, Apply !   Job Duties: Duties as assigned by Environmental Director. Management duties in absence of Environmental Director. Assists customers with project characterization and related documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Maintains customer reports and billing statements. Coordinates completion of profile forms, contract forms, and miscellaneous documents to close work orders. Assist in the research of operational concerns, questions, and discrepancies. Prepares and transmits reports/waste shipment summaries. Prepares reports for mailing, scanning, or emailing. Prepare and Reviews billings. Ship samples to testing facilities. Meet with the Environmental Manager for job details and other assignments Help on project locations as necessary; communicate with customer's site representative on issues. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned. Benefits: $50,000-$60,000 DOE Benefits available 1st of the month following 60 days Medical Dental Vision Life 401K (with match) and more!
