Our clients are within the inner bluegrass region. We are looking for hardworking men and/or women to be part of our ground crew team. No bones about it, this is hard manual labor. You are getting paid to get into shape and to learn real skills! Experience is not necessary but you must meet these minimum requirements. The applicant must have at least a high school education and a valid driver's license and your own transportation. (If there are extenuating circumstances and you currently do not possess your own transportation, but meet all other requirements within this job posting, we will still consider your application). This job requires thinking, communicating, hard work, being aware of your surroundings, a willingness to work in all types of weather, coming prepared to the job site (mentally, physically, your own food and water bottle, etc.), on time, staying focused, keeping busy at all times, the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, a willingness to work, a willingness to learn, being respectful. You will receive paid, on the job training. This includes: learning to tie knots, how to properly use a chainsaw, safe work practices, technical rigging practices, the use of mechanical advantages, proper tree planting and tree pruning. You will also move brush and thoroughly clean the job site. We are also expanding our business into landscaping so this will be part of the work week. We provide: all the gear including PPE (if you have your own that's great), clean water, a paid 30-minute lunch break, skills and a great work-out. If you choose to take this job seriously and it shows in your performance after a probation period, you will be duly compensated with a raise.
