We are seeking a Golf Course Mechanic to take care of our maintenance equipment for Lincoln Park Golf Course. Duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following: • Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical defects/failures in various equipment including diesel, electric, and gasoline-powered: trenchers, tractors, mowers, and other mechanical equipment used on the golf course • Instruct and train operators regarding preventive maintenance, proper cleaning of, and safe operation of equipment • Prioritize equipment repair and maintenance work • Maintain a preventive maintenance program on all equipment, and purchases repair parts and replacement supplies • Maintain a complete set of records for equipment and parts inventory purchases, equipment conditions, cost of repairs and preventives maintenance for all equipment • Spot check equipment for performances and makes emergency repairs to equipment and services or supervises servicing of equipment prior to release back into field • Participate in continuing education • Daily reel maintenance and sharpening/grinding • Maintain high level quality of cut daily • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds To apply, send resume to this post or contact our Superintendent, James Kinney, at 405-424-3770.
