At Taddiken, everyone will know your name, and probably your dog’s name too. Job Summary and Responsibilities We like big trucks...and we cannot lie. We need someone with mechanical skillz, who knows how to make sure our equipment is hummin’. You’ll help us do regular maintenance, coordinate with vendors and get dirty fixing a wide range of equipment and trucks. You’ll work with our team leads, schedulers and managers daily to ensure you’re getting the info and support you need. We want you to emphasize preventative over breakdown maintenance. It’s a mindset. Tasks & Duties - Perform regular preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment according to manufacturer's specifications - Communicate with all internal teammates about vehicle and equipment issues including diagnosing problems and production scheduling - Review DVIR’s and address all issues - Use lock out tag out procedures on equipment and vehicles in accordance with recommended safety practices by ANSI and OEM - Follow up with drivers and request logs when missing. Report to supervisor if a driver is not completing driver logs - Manage repair order priorities to meet scheduling needs for production - Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles internally and with vendors - Serve as a contact person with vendors and the office staff for equipment related vendors - Order and receive parts and supplies while purchasing from the best vendors in price and service - Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, or meeting with individual staff members - Learn and maintain skills required to start and operate basic functions of all assets you are responsible for - Document and maintain equipment records on all work performed - Assess repair requests and decide on fixing internally or hiring a vendor to perform repair - Gas, diesel and 2 stroke diagnostic abilities - Trucks are washed and cleaned regularly. PS we have fancy HOT pressure washer Outcomes - All vehicles have current DOT inspections - Emissions tests are completed prior to registration renewal - All PMs are current - Equipment repair requests are reviewed and next step is documented in tracking system within 24 hours of submittal - Repair requests are closed and repairs recorded daily - Expenses are updated and reported weekly Requirements - CDL-B preferred but you can get one after you get hired too. - Experience - No tools required we will provide tools and equipment To apply please send us an email and talk about why you would like to join our team including any relevant experience you may have.
