Guitarist / synth player here with 25 years exp, pro gear etc. looking for a band or other musicians to collaborate with. I’m not looking for a cover band, I’m not looking for musicians stuck in some genre from their childhood. My goal is to come up with something new or at least something more original than what’s out there. I like writing with various time signatures, tunings, different tones, tunings, layered ambient synths, but without getting stuck in being too out there I like to mash a lot of this stuff together until the songs have some kind of a hook in the verses and choruses. My current influences are King Gizzard, The Morlocs, Captain Beefheart, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Devo, NiN, Tame Impala, Qotsa, Mars Volta, Depeche Mode, Floyd, Flaming Lips, Mac DeMarco…
