Bass Player Needed

Do you love music and want some easy going but talented people to play music with? Bass player needed! Ideally practice together 2-4 times per month and willingness to practice on your own. Backing vocals or some lead vocals a plus but not required. Versatility to play other instruments a plus but not necessary. Age of current musicians 30s and 40s-- but don't care what age you are (must be 18+). Original music and covers. Some paying gigs, but some informal. Willingness to travel here and there would be good. More gigs will happen if you are willing to help make them happen. We play rock music-- not too loud or too soft. We like paid gigs, but we don't rely on the income so there is not a lot of pressure in that sense. We play the kind of music where most people of most ages and backgrounds would say "that sounds nice". We play everything from 8-12 person house concerts to occasionally opening for national or regional touring acts. If 0 is "just screwing around" and 10 is "this band is my life", we are probably a 6. Some writing/recording a plus, we have decent recording set up.
