Motorcycle Technician – Euro Cycles of Daytona
We are currently looking to hire a self-motivated individual to fill a permanent position in our service department. Our business is built on excellent customer service. We want to employ technicians who strive to complete repairs to the highest level of quality. Any level of technician will be considered for the position. Pay based on experience.
Typical Job Duties Include:
• Pushing (Rolling) Motorcycles from One Area to Another
• Using methods such as diagnostic computers, test rides, etc, to identify mechanical issues.
• Performing repairs to customer motorcycles.
• Completing standard recommended services to factory specifications.
• Communicating, both written and verbally, necessary repairs to service writers and/or customers.
• Working with parts department to select proper parts for repairs.
• Helping to keep personal bench and shared work areas neat and tidy.
• Completing appropriate training to maintain knowledge of current model motorcycles.
A Good Candidate for the Job:
• Will be a team player and pitch in wherever help is needed.
• Will be detail oriented and highly organized.
• Should possess a set of tools.
• Must be physically capable of pushing a motorcycle.
• Must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must ride and maintain valid motorcycle endorsement.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Will maintain safety standards both in the store and on test rides.
Our schedule is not flexible. You must be able to work Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We expect you to be at work every day, especially Saturday as this is often our busiest day.
Benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off, are available after completion of a probationary period. We invest in good, long term employees with training and certifications. Pay will be based on experience.
