Local air freight pickup and delivery company that has had a presence in Portland since 1959. Family owned and operated with just about 60 employees between two terminals. Job Purpose: To maintain, organize, package, label, load and unload freight in the warehouse. Duties: \* Maintain, organize, and keep warehouse floor clean and safe. \* Operate forklift safely to load and unload freight for trucks. \* Reweigh, take dimensions of and stage freight. \* Assist to load and unload inbound and outbound trucks for outbound shipments. \* Package cargo/equipment. \* Receive freight from over-the-road carriers and LTL providers. - Exceptions must be noted. \* Assist with loading debris trailer. \* Label and prepare shipments for airlines and common carriers. \* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Forklift experience, ability to lift and bend, high energy level, deadline-oriented, team player. Days: Monday/Friday - NO weekend work!
