Title: Driver/Warehouse– Industrial Packaging Company (Wilsonville, OR) The employee will be responsible for driving a local weekly delivery route, as well as be able to function in a warehouse role when not driving. The driving portion will entail picking, loading, and delivering product to and interacting with customers on a pre-determined route. In the warehouse role the employee will assist with stocking product, receiving and shipping freight, as well as fulfilling a customer service roll when dealing with walk in customers. The individual must be attentive to detail, organized, timely, able to multitask, and eager to learn new skills and knowledge. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record • Capable of driving a large delivery truck (Non CDL/Class C) • Prior Shipping/Receiving experience • Able to maintain a neat appearance • Forklift certification/experience • Handle and process material safely and accurately • Effectively able to multi task on a daily basis and meet set deadlines • Customer service oriented and able to respond to their needs • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Able to work cohesively with customer service and warehouse personnel • Able to repeatedly lift heavy products and be on your feet for extended periods REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent COMPANY INFORMATION: We are a locally owned and operated industrial packaging distributor who has been servicing the local market for nearly 40 years. Our specialization is in distributing commodity type packaging products including tape, stretch wrap, corrugated (boxes), bubble wrap, foam, void fill, strapping, poly bags, and other industrial packaging goods. Current customers include Fortune 500 companies, major manufacturers, redistributors, retail chains, and fulfillment companies throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.
