Mike's Pruning and Tree Care llc is currently hiring an experienced Driver/Groundsman Good candidates must have a minimum of one year experience with an established tree services company. Mike's Pruning and Tree Care offers competitive pay and reasonable work hours. All candidates must be safety minded and work as team players at all times. This requirement is non-negotiable. The candidate must live in the Multnomah area or be willing to relocate to the Multnomah area. What you’ll do: • Experience with proper chainsaw operation techniques; assist in process of trimming trees, clearing and chipping tree debris, and disposing of tree debris. • Ensure that the work area beneath and around the trees is clear and properly marked so that the public will be safe from falling debris. • Maintain tree care equipment to be sure that all equipment and tools are safe and in working order for high quality and safe service. • Ensure that all crew members follow company safety policies and procedures. Required safety gear will be worn at all times. • Drug and alcohol usage during work hours will result in immediate termination without pay. • All onsite positions will assist with brush cleanup. We work as a team at all times. Skills we’re seeking: • One year previous experience is required. • Skilled at backing up trailers required. Safety-focused mentality is required. • Able to successfully follow directions and complete requests. • Strong work ethic and team-focused. • Good communication skills. • Able to become certified in First-Aid and CPR. • Interest in career advancement. • Valid Oregon Driver’s License with a good driving record is required. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
