Wingman Pest Control in South Lyon, Michigan is continuing to expand. We are searching for apprentice level Wildlife & Pest Control Field Technicians to help us service Livingston, Oakland, Genesee, Ingham and Washtenaw county areas. We have a very systematic approach to training our field techniques and you will also be training alongside some of the top professionals in the industry. Basic Job Duties: 1. Inspecting for animal signs and entry point throughout the structure. 2. Trapping and / or removing nuisance animals from the inside of structures: bats, mice, squirrels, raccoons, etc. 3. Sealing up the exterior of structures in order to stop pests from entering in: caulking, installing screens, bending custom metal patches, working on roofs and ladders. Basic Requirements: 1. Have a valid MI drivers license and clean driving record 2. Be able to lift 80lbs above your head (eg. 32ft ladders) 3. Be willing to work at heights and with ladders 4. Be willing to work in the sun, wind, rain, and snow with proper safety measures 5. Be willing to deal with and handle both insects and wildlife 6. Be able to pass a criminal/driving background check and drug screening. We adhere to the current Michigan legislation for our standards regarding medical and recreational use. Basic compensation and benefits: 1. Pay starts out $14-$17 per hour 2. 40hrs paid time off after 30-90 day probation period 3. 7 paid major holidays 4.
