Auto Repair shop in Marietta looking for experienced AUTOMOTIVE BODY REPAIR TECH **Compensation: TBD **Employment type: full-time Job Description: This position is responsible for formulating and applying properly mixed and dispensed automotive refinish materials to vehicle surfaces and sub-assemblies, using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and other related equipment. Job Responsibilities: **Inspect panels to be painted for proper body repair, prepping and/or masking and notify the manager when imperfections are found before applying any refinish coatings **Assure all refinish products are properly formulated to meet the color match and finish texture expectations ** Clean and maintain all paint formulation and spray application equipment (i.e., paint guns, mixing system, computer equipment, etc.) **Repair defective paint on the vehicle utilizing priming, painting, wet sanding, and polishing **In preparation for a painting project, the tech must remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted, fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface, mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination and select the proper colors and substances for the project ****PLEASE contact [email protected]****
