We are looking for experienced Cabinet Makers/ Wood Workers to work in our custom cabinetry and furniture departments. This position has opportunities to work on custom projects which can include anything from individual display bases to kitchen showcases and everything in between. If our designers can sell it, we can build it. Also looking for apprentices who want to learn a trade that they can build a career around. Individuals with a passion for detail and craftsmanship, and are self-starters are the "right fit" for this position. Our Cabinet Makers/ Wood Workers are essential in delivering a customized, high quality product that will exceed our customer's expectations. Responsibilities: Read technical drawings/blueprints and work orders to determine sequence of work and produce project work as outlined by customer specifications Construct and assemble displays, ensuring exact measurements and placement of components and hardware Utilize prior experience with woodworking, plastic fabricating, laminating, finishing, adhesives and assembly to problem solve any issues that arise Proficiently and safely handle all equipment necessary for your work including hand tools, table saws, routers and measuring tools Record tracking information for time spent, materials used and issues encountered. Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area Qualifications: 1-3 years experience with all shop tools including hand tools, table saws, routers, measuring tools etc. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in furniture and/or cabinet making and wood working Applicant must be able to work individually and with a team Able to lift 50 to 70lbs frequently; walk and stand for long periods of time Broad knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Proven communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits: Health, dental and vision available after 120 days Paid holidays and overtime available Paid time off (PTO), 401k, profit sharing after 1yr Please send us a resume to review and we will contact you for an interview.
