This job contains the following duties and responsibilities: • Weeding and mulching landscape beds • Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs • Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees • Planting shrubs, flowers and trees • Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes • Monitoring and maintaining plant health • Maintaining positive relationships with plant nurseries and garden supply companies • Traveling to landscaping sites • Working together with other landscape professionals in order to achieve goals • Raking leaves, administering pesticides and deadheading flowers • Other duties as assigned The specific skills below are required for this position: • Ability to safely drive and operate a loaded masonry dump truck (no CDL needed) • Physical stamina and ability to use various tools and equipment • Self-motivated, reliable, a positive attitude and good work ethic • Visualization and ability to understand the needs of the customer • Creativity and able to interpret the customer’s vision • Good communication skills You must have: • Minimum 5 Years Landscape Experience • Valid NJ Driver’s License • Be willing to have a background check performed • Be able to pass an alcohol/drug-screening If this sounds like you, please request an interview by submitting your resume by email.
