We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician to work in our manufacturing plant. This person will ensure that all the equipment is running and performing as it should. This will be accomplished by performing quick and decisive troubleshooting that will fix issues at their root cause. The individual selected for this role will thrive in an environment that changes daily. Tasks that must be completed will change as well. This person needs to be self-motivated and work well both independently and as part of a team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Repairs equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts Improves and evaluates function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions Displays a strong mechanical skillset Displays strong electrical skills, especially electrical systems up to 480V Single and 3-Phase Wiring Displays strong plumbing skills QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma / GED Basic computer and mathematical skills Demonstrated aptitude in the following areas: Mechanical Electrical Pneumatics Plumbing Welding Experience in troubleshooting automation systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift Must be available to work overtime if required Exceptional Attendance
