Job Scope: Will be responsible for keeping track of money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices and updating records. As a billing clerk, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and safeguard the company's income. Responsibilities: Generate credit memos Create and send out invoices to customers Issue customers with statements Ensure that client files are updated with payments or credits Highlight any discrepancies between shipping logs and invoice accounts. Keep the contact information files updated for all customers Enter invoices into our invoicing web platform Initiate and establish new procedures for billing tasks Handle billing inquiries from customers Requirements: Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Outlook Good typing and data entry skills(Accuracy) Minimum 2 years of recent billing experience Good written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution Ability to work efficiently under pressure First-rate customer-service skills A responsible, meticulous attitude with excellent attention to detail Ability to solve problems Reliability and a strong work ethic Must use financial understanding to ensure that company accounts are accurate and current.
