Hello My friends, If we haven't met before, let me begin by saying that I am many things. An arts patron for one. Also a Grandmother. But not a mother! Never. I am also an aficionado of Many, Many other things. :~) Right now, at this exact moment, I on the Chinocoteague Islands at my chalet where I husband a band of Horses. No, they do not play music. Yes, yes they wield very large instruments. :~) Let me cut to the chase. I, for so long, have Never been at a loss for Talented Young Artists. I have always had my pick of the litter. I said you there! YOu! You, the ugly one with nice feet! Yes... you, too. Now I'm stuck with the old ones who are fuzzy and sipping on Coronas through a straw. Alas the good days have come, the good days have gone. Now I will not say I am desperate but I am certainly desiring. I am desiring something fresh, something young, a wad, a hunk of spunk or maybe a few. My Commission for The Arts is accepting applications. We have nine 2-year residencies. Some of the most ambitious artists have passed through my barn doors. For me, that is. Not the horses. OK, Sometimes both :~) Write me! I can't wait to hear from you. xox Nica
