Guitar player looking for his next Blues band

I've recently moved to the Beaumont area from the East Coast. There's been some settling time, but things are evening out and I need to get music back in my life. I was in a band over in Chino Hills, but the other guitar player pulled the rip cord. So, now it's time to start the search again. I am looking to join, or get back into a band, that plays regularly. I am used to gigging several times a month, and would really like to get back there. I am a professional, who also enjoys having a good time while playing. I have loved the Blues since I figured out what it was... Been playing 35+ years, recently more and more professionally. I play and sing (lead and backup). Had a successful (local) band in Virginia, The Dear Johns Blues Band, and do an occasional acoustic Blues duo thing with Gaye Adegbalola (formerly of Saffire: The Uppity Blues Women) with a CD released a couple years ago. No attitude, no ego, just love making music and moved here to be closer to my family. I am looking to find folks to jam with and eventually get some gigs going. Enjoying the company and the music is an important goal. I laugh a lot, enjoy interacting with other musicians and I want to find more of that here in California. But, I really am looking to find regular gigging opportunities. In the electric band, we played everything from the Fabulous Thunderbirds to Little Walter, Otis Rush and Blind Lemon Jefferson. We took that stuff and made it our own. Love the West Coast Stuff!!! Been influenced by BB and T-Bone, Jimmy Vaughan, Clapton, Otis Rush, Tab Benoit and on and on. My iPod is full of Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Little Charlie, Jimmy Vaughan, T-Bone, Jr Watson... as well as Lightnin' Hopkins, Robert Johnson, Terri and McGhee.... I really just love the Blues. If any of this sounds interesting, let's get together and see what we can have some fun with. Like I said, I'm looking to jam, meet some new folks, learn some stuff and gig.
