Speyside Bourbon Cooperage is looking for hardworking individuals to fill positions as Production Operators. As part of the production team you will be responsible for a variety of production related tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to jointer operator, stave inspector, barrel raiser, roll out operator, hoop press operator, finishing inspector and forklift operator. This is an entry level position. No previous experience required. Manufacturing experience a plus; wood working experience desirable. A Job Fair and Interviewing Event will be held on site at the Speyside Bourbon Cooperage facility in Atkins, VA on Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 from 9am until 2pm. If pre-registered, you will have the opportunity for an in-person interview. Interviews will be scheduled in 15 minute blocks. Please choose an available time slot and complete the registration. You can also walk in to complete an application. Due to limited availability, walk-ins are not guaranteed an in-person interview but will be worked in as time allows. To participate in the Job Fair/Interviewing Event, you must adhere to all safety procedures including the wearing of face-coverings and social distancing. You must register to secure an interview.
