Job Overview: The Start Technician is responsible for performing the first application for new customers. Being detail-oriented and providing exceptional customer service are imperative in this position. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Perform indoor and outdoor applications for customers Interact with customers and explain service features and benefits Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers and maintain accurate and organized records Deliver 5-star customer service Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety equipment in clean and working order Job Requirements: 1+ years of customer service experience Possess an active driver's license with a clean driving record (must pass our Motor Vehicle Records check and be 21 years of age to qualify for our company vehicle insurance) Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and a criminal background check Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, and training Ability to work Monday - Friday, some Saturdays and some holidays Must earn and maintain state-required training (provided) and licensing Strong consideration will be given to the candidates who: 6 months+ experience in the pest control industry Have experience and are comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces and on roofs Have state-required pest control license Working Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
