Originally born in London to American and British parents, Xavier grew accustom to life on the move, subsequently making his home in France, San Diego, CA, Austin, TX, Madison, WI, and Cleveland, OH, where he currently resides. Performing professionally since the age of 12, Xavier has learned to captivate audiences with his riveting, star-like stage presence, all the while supporting internationally recognized artists and producers such as Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi, William Murphy, Ronnie Laws, Tim Rogers, Daniel Weatherspoon (Beyoncé, Fred Hammond), Tony Nicholas (Gerald Levert, the O’Jays), the Cash Box Kings, and James Brown’s original funky drummer, Clyde Stubblefield. Now, following the 2020 release of his hit single, “Make It Through,” Xavier has formed a new Cleveland based band by the name of “The Ruckus On 118th.” Birthed out of an ongoing series of house parties on East 118th Street in Cleveland’s University Circle, the group’s vibrant young energy has enabled Xavier to modernize his sound.
