Andy Warhol’s Factory at Studio 54 ft. fine art by resident artist Jeff Schleis. A multi-medium, multi-artist thematic experience. The long awaited “Warhol’s Factory at Studio 54” multi-medium thematic experience is here! [This is a 21+ event] This is a two-in-one event where guests will be immersed in a club like lounge atmosphere inspired by Andy Warhol’s famous Silver painted New York studio known as The Factory and New York’s hottest Discotech for celebrities, models and socialites Studio 54. Guests will be surrounded and immersed in pieces by the artwork of artist in residence Jeff Schleis. This will be Schleis’ premier showcase in over four years. All pieces will be available for sale and the gallery is offering a payment plan for interested and potential buyers/collectors. BUT THATS NOT ALL... First thing first, we encourage all guests to do research for the event for what to wear. Dress the part! Don’t come in a traditional weekend get up. THIS IS A THEMATIC PARTY! Some will do more, some will do less. No worries! All we ask is that you at least try and most importantly, have fun doing it! Pictures of inspiration are attached to the bottom of this post. **NOTE - Tickets bought together will be sat together. If you have a seating preference please note your request at check out. Baxter’s Speakeasy will do their best to accommodate. All seating and requests are on a first come basis. All seating will be lounge and high top style. ALL TICKETS BOUGHT SOLO WILL BE SAT AT RANDOM UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUESTED. Also included with every ticket purchase is the following: •Introductory thematic Cocktail or Mocktail •A Studio 54/Factory inspired cocktail (4 to choose from) •light Hor dourves •Jeri Sapronetti & Co. performing live as Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground •Ruby Rabbit & Co. performing burlesque - BRING CASH TO TIP 🧡 •Mega Lab Limited will be doing live screen printing - every guest will receive a tote bag and will be taught Andy Warhol’s favorite art medium Screen Printing. Guests will choose from one of 3 unique designs, designed by Baxter’s Speakeasy MLL to print onto their bags. GUESTS CAN ALSO BRING THEIR OWN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING to be printed upon for an additional cost of $10 per item. Neither the venue nor MLL is responsible for any personal belongings or articles of clothing. •Jake Devine will be reading one-on-one Tarot with guests. This is an experience not to be missed! - Tips graciously accepted •A Factory themed disco photo experience shot by resident photographer and Akron multi-medium artist Jenn Kidd . Prints of photos available through the artist upon request. •A DANCE PARTY!!!!!! with music inspired by Devine, Grace Jones, Blondie, Dolly Parton, the Velvet Undergeound, Bob Dylan, etc. •A best dressed competition for those who dressed the part for the theme(s.) prizes to be announced. •Pool and Darts are available in the Billard lounge •Outdoor patio to lounge under the stars, smoke cigars and mingle with enigmatic pop stars, artists and disco gods. •Cash bar and Cocktail Service - All tabs started will require either personal ID or Debit/CC •Saturday May 29th will feature pizza for purchase by Totaly Baked Pizza - Akron’s newest pizza joint in town ****BAXTER’S SPEAKEASY IS A SAFE SPACE FOR ALL.
