Interior Remodeling and Design firm is in need of a highly skilled punch carpenter to work independently on various jobs throughout Manhattan. Our company is a 20-year-old Manhattan based design and remodeling firm with a Better Business Bureau A+ rating and 1000's of satisfied customers. We are in search of a highly skilled carpenter to perform punch and repair work on recently completed projects and warranty jobs. Requirements needed: Experienced with renovations of New York city apartments including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas. Must be highly proficient in the repair and replacement of cabinetry, sheetrock, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, caulking, painting, and tile work. Must be able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve insufficient and incomplete work. Candidate will need basic computer and smartphone skills and the ability to create and follow work order schedules. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and accurately report status of materials and work in progress. MUST have exceptional customer service experience with the ability to maintain the trust and confidence of our clients as well as building superintendents/staff. Must be equipped with tools and the ability to get tools and materials to and from various jobs in Manhattan as needed. Must be familiar with NYC building codes and building rules around the city. Must have a keen eye for detail and the skill set to perform the highest quality of work. This is an immediate hire with continuous work as our company provides a 5-year warranty on all of our projects. Pay rate $38-$45 per hour depending upon experience.
