Description

Kick off your Sunday with an invigorating hike in Morrison, Colorado with spectacular views of Red Rocks Amphitheater! We missed you, Colorado! Join Sydney + Barry of Hiking My Feelings to step into the healing power of nature, connect with a community of big-hearted adventurers, and practice self-care with us on Sunday, May 16! We'll be meeting at the Mt. Falcon East Parking Lot at 6:45am and hitting the trail at 7:00am, feel free to show up earlier as the lot fills quickly! CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE TRAILHEAD We scouted this hike and the full route is 8.6 miles with 2,047 feet of elevation gain. Most of the elevation gain is at the beginning, which is why we're starting early so the cool weather is on our side. We are setting a goal to reach the Castle ruins (3 miles in, 6 miles roundtrip) and we can decide to continue on the Meadow trail to add more distance or we can turn around after seeing the ruins. If for some reason we need to cut it super short, there is an opportunity to head back down at 1.5 miles in (3 miles round trip).
