FlatRate Moving® is seeking a detail orientated independent thinker as our Trip Logistics Coordinator to join our prestigious Long Distance Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interact with the Long Distance Freight Drivers Find amicable resolutions to customer complaints Accomplish an increase of client recommendations Record keeping of trip details Ensure that delivery time frames are being met in accordance to initial contract Maintain constant communication with customers regarding shipments, and open issues Work closely with the Claims Department, Senior and Executive Management to resolve open issues Work closely with the partners and affiliate branches regarding scheduled deliveries Manage direct trips between branches Required Skills and Experience: Ability to work independently to solve problems Must be able to keep and maintain composure under pressure Good communication skills Basic Microsoft Office Knowledge - specific experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred Basic knowledge of US Geography preferred Experience in Logistics, Trucking, and Customer Service preferred Must be able to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month
