bassist needed/wanted for female fronted band with jazz + rock + pop + funk influence. ages > around 30 | location > new york | level > advanced | functions > playing both basic bass lines and leads (think jaco pastorius + richard bona + felix pastorius + victor wooten). dear guns/mercenaries > this audition is not for you (band is not signed, so who will pay you salaries? us? sorry, we can't do that). there are bunch of videos on youtube that you can check. hopefully you have some links as well (audio or video). no need to reply with questions only. no need to reply if you never played leads/impros on bass. t h a n k s we are all original and we are not planning to play covers+books+etc. if your schedule is busy cause you are involved with dozen bands then we'll pass and won't be interested to audition (sounds selfish, but hey what about you? are you an angel? at least we are honest and trying to save everyone's time). goo luck best!
