My male Persian cat needs to find a new home. I got him when I was in college and he is my absolute baby, but the past couple years have brought a lot of changes to my life that he is very unhappy with and his happiness/quality of life is suffering. He is 6 years old, neutered, white flame point. He can be shy when meeting new people but if you are patient all he will want to do is lay on your lap forever. He has never scratched or bitten anyone even when being chased by my one year old. However he is stressed around children and other animals. He would do best in a quiet, laid back home. He does not like having to share litter boxes with other cats and will find other places to go, so probably would do best as an only cat. When he is very stressed he is prone to getting urinary tract infections. It last happened when we moved, but a water fountain, playtime and snuggles have prevented any more. He is the sweetest cat ever who is turning into a grumpy old man because of being stressed by children and other animals. Can you give him the home of his dreams where he can get all the snuggles and love and relax all day? I will be very picky on who gets him.
