BTSVV manages private vacation home residences and private villas from Ft. Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach. We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to manage a small team of housekeepers, ensuring BTSVV runs smoothly, day in and day out! In addition to general housekeeping duties, we rely on our managers to inspect properties, work in tandem with maintenance supervisor, make sure schedules are set, cleans are completed on time and at a high quality, and make sure their team is always working to improve the guest experience! AT BTSVV YOU WILL: • Oversee multiple area properties within a 5 mile radius. • Oversee Coordination staffing and scheduling to meet daily cleaning volumes. Oversee coordination the daily logistics of Housekeepers and Housekeeping Support Agents, ensuring the team meets productivity standards and forecasted occupancy. • Maintain relationship with 3rd party vendors regarding daily cleanings • Oversee management of the team and individual training and performance, including disciplinary actions. • Handle cost management, and vendor relationships for payroll, supplies, and laundry • Plan and maintain required pars of linen, amenities, and consumables for inventory management and in preparation for daily distribution. • Perform inspections and quality audits of cleaned properties and common areas, providing feedback and on-the-job training to cleaners • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, security issues, or damage to BTSVV property • Use mobile smartphone/applications/technology to communicate with the team and report progress • Lead the execution of special projects as assigned including deep cleaning and preventative maintenance program • When necessary, perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, patios, BBQ’s, and balconies; changing linen and towels; interior/exterior window washing; surface polishing, trash/recycling removal; vacuuming, mopping, and dusting; and item restocking WHAT WE LOOK FOR: • A professional with a strong work ethic, who has the ability to work effectively both in a leadership position as well as independently • Previous experience in a leadership role with a housekeeping department or similar operation especially in regard to personnel management; have successfully managed a team of more than 5 housekeepers • Experience with auditing and managing processes with a focus on efficiency and quality. Ability to identify technical issues and suggest workflow improvements • The ability to learn to use mobile applications to digitally correspond with management • Knowledge of and experience cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods, as well as working knowledge of operating professional housekeeping equipment cleaning equipment • Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend • Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 40 lbs) • This position requires a smartphone and a car in select markets with valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.
