McMillen Jacobs Associates is seeking a Foreman with heavy civil/concrete experience for a project in Great Falls, MT. The right candidate will be experienced with earth work, concrete demo, forms, heavy equipment operation, and have marine/barge work and sheet pile driving experience. This job begins in May 2021 and is anticipated to continue for 2-3 years. We are a drug-free workplace, and you must consent to a drug test and background check. Following a 30 day assessment period, full-time benefit-eligible employment may be offered. The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California and other states in the western region. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stopping, and handling of materials. Repetitive use of hands and wrists using power, rotational, and vibration tools. Ability to work on feet and/or standing 8-10 hours each day, maintain balance while walking on 12-24" wide steel beams. Ability to work in all-weather environments including heat, cold, dusty and dirty work. Must have a sense of balance and understanding, how to work on the water out of a skiff (boat). Requirements: Must have 5 years' experience managing small crews of 4-8 workers. Pass a drug test and background check. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from work. Company Profile: We provide environmental and natural resources, engineering, construction, and design build services.
