The Glen Rock Jaycees presents the 1st Annual Jaycees Charity Beer Pong Tournament Ladies and Gentleman – the Glen Rock Jaycees invite you to attend its 1st Annual Charity Beer Pong Tournament. This is a charity event and tournament proceeds will benefit all of the Glen Rock HSAs. Tournament begins at 7pm, Saturday June 19th under the outdoor tent at the Glen Rock Athletic Club in Glen Rock NJ. Entry fee is $125 per two-person team and includes entry into the tournament, open bar from 7pm to 12pm, heavy appetizers, and other games/prizes (including a 50/50 raffle). Teams are encouraged to register early as the tournament is limited to 48 teams. Teams will be randomly entered into a single-elimination bracket and play will continue until one team is victorious. Tourney proceeds will be distributed to the Glen Rock HSAs of the top 3 teams in the following manner: • 1st Place: 40% (1st place team will also have their names etched in the event trophy; imagine the eternal bragging rights!) • 2nd Place: 25%• 3rd Place: 15%• Remainder will be donated evenly between the remaining Glen Rock HSAs. All teams must abide by the 'No Jackass' Rule. All players are to conduct themselves in a manner respectful to other players, referees, and the sport of Beer Pong. We will be playing official World Series of Beer Pong RulesRule Highlights: • 8 foot length, 40mm ball, 16 ounce cups • Teams will use water in cups• Start match with a coin flip, winner shoots first • The game starts with the first team getting 2 shots • 10 cup rack. Autoracks at 6-3-1, immediately no matter what, even mid turn • Rollbacks/Bringbacks if team hits both of their shots (both balls) - max 2 roll backs per turn • No redemption once final cup is hit with the exception of the Championship Round CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONLY • 2 shot redemption once a team hits the final cup, unless game is finished with 2 hits in a row (both if one cup was remaining or if 2 cups were remaining) • 3 cup overtime if redemption successfulFinal interpretation of these rules is made at the sole discretion of the tournament organizers and may be amended as necessary to promote the goal of efficiently running the tournament (or to help us win). This is a 21+ event. No consumption of alcohol is required.
