Origami Paddler is an exciting outdoor company with a mission to get a billion butts on boats and we are seeking to expand our team. We have a long history of successful watercraft and the Origami Paddler is the first folding kayak & SUP all-in-one. We are looking for a person who enjoys working with their hands, has a general fix-it attitude, and loves to learn. We have trained people to have successful careers. Compensation: $15-$20 / hour Description: We need a willing learner to do fairing, fiberglass, and spraying to make prototypes. Possible long-term position or full-time position. Experience working in boat building and shop work is a plus. Desired requirements but necessary: -Sanding and fairing experience -Fiberglassing experience desired -Experience working with tools and equipment -Must be able to take direction and work well with others -Communication and Organizational skills Contract work with separate shop or direct employment at our shop is possible
