Clint Daniels hosts a special ‘Muletown in the Round’ session with songwriting guests Brice Long and Kerry Curt Phillips Grammy-nominated songwriter, Clint Daniels, was born and raised in the Florida panhandle. Daniels has co-written songs for other country artists, including the following Billboard No. 1 Hits: "Some Of It" by Eric Church in 2019, “Brokenheartsville” (Joe Nichols), “She Ain’t In It” (Jon Pardi), "Bright Side Girl" (Eric Church), “I Can’t Love You Back” (Easton Corbin), “Roll With Me” (Montgomery Gentry), “God Must Be Busy” (Brooks & Dunn), "Ready For The End of the World" -(George Strait), “Where Do I Go From You” (Clay Walker), “Cold Beer With Your Name On It” (Josh Thompson) Brice has enjoyed a successful 25+ year music career. As a songwriter, he has had cuts with Garth Brooks, George Strait, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr., Randy Houser, Josh Turner, Reba McEntire, Gary Allan, Chris Young, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Casey James, Darryl Worley, Randy Travis, Gretchen Wilson, Porter Wagoner, and others. Brice’s songwriting hits include the #1 singles “Heartache On The Dance Floor” by Jon Pardi and “Nothing On But The Radio” by Gary Allan. Long also wrote Randy Houser’s “Like a Cowboy,” a song that also garnered Brice a CMA nomination for Song of the Year. Kerry Kurt Phillips is a nominee to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and has six #1 singles and has been awarded over 75 gold and 36 platinum albums. Some of his biggest songs include the George Jones’ Smash, “I Don’t Need Your Rockin’ Chair” and several Joe Diffie hits such as, “Is It Cold In Here,” “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox,” “In My Own Backyard,” and “Pickup Man.” He has also written hits for Tim McGraw with “Down On the Farm,” “Maybe We Should Just Sleep On It,” and “Do You Want Fries With That” plus “That’s Just Jessie” sung by Kevin Denney.
