A growing manufacturer located just east of Downtown is looking for the right individual serve as our primary mechanic. It is a full time shift that is available now. We are a dynamic and well established company that is needing your help. Your responsibilities will be: Troubleshoot and maintain small gasoline & diesel engines. Troubleshoot and maintain small and large mechanical presses. Troubleshoot and maintain air compressors. Light PM work on company vehicles, forklifts and trailers. Maintain dies. Maintain specialized company machinery. Manage company tooling. Maintain and manage inventory levels of sundries for the plant. Skills required: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with a calculator Basic understanding of warehouse operations, and safety rules Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift 100 pounds throughout a workday Willingness to operate a forklift and pallet jack after training Ability to manage multiple functions at one time Valid Driver's License and good driving record Possess basic welding skills (MIG). Have good Interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot and research when needed. Ability to maintain maintenance logs. Bonus: Bilingual Starting wages are $13.50 - 14.50 /hour based upon experience, with a review after the initial 90-day period is up. Hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday – Friday. You must be able to submit to drug test and criminal background check. Proof of employment eligibility is required.
