Join us for a day of jazz & art to support our Placentia school Arts programs. Enjoy Louisiana-style crawfish, beer, wine & local vendors Please join us for our first-ever Mardi Gras-themed Jazz & Art Festival to support our Placentia school Music and Arts programs Saturday, May 29th from 3:00-9:00pm at Bradford Park home of our historic Bradford House. Music Lineup: Tuffree MS Jazz I, directed by David SalibyEl Dorado HS, Jazz I directed by Eric SamsonZack Caplinger TrioEdCode Quintet Quintet, led by El Dorado High School Band Director Eric SamsonCSUF Latin Jazz Ensemble, Directed by Francisco TorresCSUF Faculty Jazz Group featuring Grammy-Award Winning Pianist, Bill CunliffeEnjoy Louisiana boiled crawfish, beer, wine & fun vendors while listening to local jazz bands. Participate in the Art Contest to find the next budding Picasso! This is a great family and community event that promises to be a Placentia favorite for years to come! Beer and wine will be served from 5:00-9:00pm; Crawfish will be served from 5:00-7:30 or until it's gone! All crawfish meals include corn and potatoes. This Jazz & Art Festival is being put on by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce and all proceeds will go our participating Placentia school Art & Music Programs. Ticket sales: Ticket sales are limited due to COVID-19 guidelines. General Admission tickets are for the concert and access to food trucks and vendors. Food trucks include Foodilicious, Miffie's Coffee (and sweets), Scooter's Sweet Shack VIP tables are available for up to 10 people and include a boiled crawfish table dump, 10 drink tickets and water at your own reserved table. This is the perfect way to enjoy jazz under the stars with friends and family. Optional crawfish meals are available for an additional cost. Please note that you must purchase your crawfish meals in advance to ensure we order the proper quantity. The crawfish will be flown fresh from Louisiana just for you! Early bird pricing ends on May 23rd. The deadline to order crawfish is midnight Tuesday, May 25th. After that, there may be some the day of, but no guarantees... COVID instructions: Because of the guidelines we have to follow to host this event, masks are required when you're not seated and practice social distancing on the lawn and other gathering places. Temperatures will be taken at the check in. Please do not come if you are feeling sick. What to bring: lawn chairs or blankets, your mask, and an appetite! What NOT to bring: coolers, animals except for service ones, fire arms or weapons of any kind. Check in: having your entire party together will speed up the check in process.
