COVID-19 Vaccines, Showers, Haircuts, Food, Legal Advice, Care Packages, and more for the unhoused and formerly incarcerated community. To celebrate our 1 year anniversary, The Black Inmate Commissary Fund LLC (BICF) will be throwing the Restoration and Reparations Block Party! This is a family friendly event with fun activities for kids, good tunes, and food. We will be providing COVID-19 testing and vaccines, showers, haircuts/hairstyling, food, legal advice, counseling, and care packages while maintaining CDC health precautions concerning COVID-19. BICF understands that Black communities are some of the hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic and will practice social distancing and will provide masks for mandatory usage during the event. There will be a sanitation break from 1:30 pm EST to 4:00 pm EST so that the venue can remain safe for all who are in attendance. “Restoration & Reparations” event is in partnership with Lakewood Church of Christ.
