Edge Analytical Laboratories is hiring a full-time Sample Receiving clerk at our Burlington laboratory. Primary duties include: -Sample receiving: Unpacking water and other environmental samples, logging in samples, assisting customers, reviewing folders, and sample triage. -Some Physical Activity: Normal lifting up to 20 lbs but occasionally 30+ lbs. Requires a lot of standing, bending, and occasional lifting. - Sample login: Utilizing lab computer program for login and project tracking - Exposure to chemicals: Working with hazardous materials and some chemical use (may trigger headaches in some people. This is not the right position for you if you are prone to headaches or are sensitive to odors) To apply for this position, we ask that you are: -Educated: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent. -Reliable: Are highly dependable with a proven track record of steady work attendance. If you have obligations that may cause you to regularly miss work, this is not the right job for you. This job is 100% in-person and cannot be done remotely.
