Lagniappe Trio returns: experience world premiere performances of two works! Lagniappe Trio returns to the stage for its FIRST live concert since the pandemic began, performing a program of FIRSTS. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience world premiere performances of two works, including one by their very own members, Christopher Lowry. They will also perform the FIRST work ever written for the flute, viola, and harp ensemble. Opening the FestivalMusic series, this exciting and innovative program is perfect to get live audiences back in the performance halls. Join us after the concert for a free reception in the Phyllis Downey Gallery at UBC to enjoy “Teachers as Artists,” and exhibit featuring 3 young art teachers in South Mississippi who are also artists in their own right.
