IMMEDIATE OPENINGS The primary responsibility of this job is to safely and timely unload rail cars to trucks and storage, within the terminal facility and ability to understand, and follow, operating procedures, safety protocols, and policies. Daily unloading of rail cars using heavy equipment. Ability to be cross-trained on all functions of the facility, including light paperwork and computer work. Assist team with facility maintenance such as general maintenance, landscape upkeep, and painting, as needed. Interact with customers, railroad crews, and visitors, in a professional manner. Ability and desire to work in all weather elements, including heat, cold, rain, and snow, and physical ability to work on feet all day, walking up to 3 miles per day, and lift 50 lbs consistently. Description of Facility: 24 car spots Commodities Handled: Dry Bulk, Liquid Bulk, Lumber, Warehousing, Chemicals: Liquid and Dry, Petroleum, Plastics Handling Equipment: Air Compressor, Blowers, Vacuum Transfer, Truck Scale, Pumps, Conveyors, Steaming, Truck Wash, Forklifts Safety and Security: Lighted, Paved, and Fenced. Liquid containment. Operating Hours: 7:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday Must possess current valid driver's license, pass drug screen, and a clean background check.
