Our fast-growing Public Adjusting Company is looking to add an additional “Desk Adjuster” to the team. We are looking for a FULL TIME professional, experienced, and knowledgeable person to advocate for the insured/policyholder in assisting and negotiating that insured’s insurance claim. This individual will be responsible for negotiations with the insurance company/carrier for an adjustment of settlement. This candidate must be reliable and a fast learner. Duties include but are not limited to; reviewing client’s policy to determine the greatest coverage for the loss, assess the cause of loss which will trigger coverage, prepare detailed scope, and cost estimates, negotiate claim, submit documentation and keeping client apprised throughout the process. Individual will be utilizing a program called “Claim Wizard.” If you have experience using this program that is a huge plus, but we are willing to train the “right person.” Requirements: • 18 yrs. and older • Experience with reading and understanding Insurance Policy information is a plus • Experienced using Word, Excel and Outlook • Can type at least 30 words per minute • Ability to follow operational procedure and identify improvements as necessary • Has Reliable Transportation • MUST be able to pass a Background Check through the Department of Insurance • Attention to detail is a must!
