Bacon Library Opens For Browsing, Morse To Follow In June

NATICK, MA — Natick's libraries are reemerging this spring following an especially tough winter for coronavirus. The Bacon Free Library on Monday began offering in-person visits by appointment only. Patrons will get to browse at the south Natick library in 30-minute increments on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meanwhile, the Morse Institute Library is planning to reopen on June 1. On that date, the first floor will be open for browsing Mondays to Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Services like computer time, copying and faxing will also be available. Both libraries will continue offering curbside pickup, which was put in place last year following the first coronavirus wave.
