WAUKESHA, WI—The City of Waukesha has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This is the second year the City has received this award after first receiving the award in 2020, according to a news release. "As an organization we are extremely honored to be recognized once again with a Top Workplace Award. This is a reflection of the incredibly talented team we have working for the City that has dedicated their careers to serving the citizens and businesses of Waukesha," said Kevin Lahner, City Administrator in a statement. "We are always looking for more individuals that want to commit to an exciting career in a values driven and inclusive workplace." The Top Workplaces Award is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization including:alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. "During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO in a statement. The City of Waukesha employs a workforce of over 500 employees whose mission is to enhance the community's quality of life through efficient, effective and responsive government.
