Caridad and First Friday present local Las Vegas artist Karma Reyes for a paint and sip night hosted at the outdoor Inspire Rooftop downtown
Caridad has partnered with local non-profit First Friday to bring in local Las Vegas artist Karma Reyes. Karma will be guiding participants through a guided class to create a sunflower on canvas. The Inspire Rooftop provides a safe outdoor venue in which participants paint stations will be spaced a safe 6 feet apart. Masks required in accordance with state regulations.
About Caridad: Caridad Gardens is a jobs program using gardening to help reintegrate formerly homeless Veterans back into the workforce.
About First Friday Foundation: For over seventeen years, the Foundation has put significant effort into providing artistic opportunities for thousands of students in the Clark County School District through creative empowerment assemblies, contests, and income-based opportunities.
About the artist Karma Reyes: Las Vegas native, Karma Reyes, utilizing acrylics and watercolors, releases the turmoil from within to leave on the canvas. Karma began painting in 2012 in an attempt to treat her depression and anxiety without the use of pharmaceuticals. Each piece tells a different story, part of her journey as an artist and as a woman, unfolding to Karma once the piece is completed. Even though most of her work is created from Automatism, she is available for commission work. Instagram @karmareyes
