LARGO, FL — A bicyclist is dead following an accident Monday morning on Starkey Road. According to Largo Police, at 5:56 a.m. officers responded to the area of Starkey Road south of East Bay Drive when a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The bicycle did not have rear lights. Patch will update this story as soon as more information is available.
