Description

CONCORD, MA — All Massachusetts residents over age 16 have been eligible for the vaccine for three weeks now, and the first two weeks of data have been released by the state. Half of Concord's residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, outpacing the state as a whole. Roughly 2.77 million people have been full vaccinated in Massachusetts, the state reported Thursday—that's roughly 40 percent. Sixteen of Concord residents under the age of 30 have received both doses of the vaccine. Nearly 70 percent of Concord's oldest residents — people over the age of 75 — have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state's data. About 20 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. Concord reported 28 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to May 4 according to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "yellow" zone.
