Press release from the City of Roanoke: Posted on: May 7, 2021 The City of Roanoke's Equity and Empowerment Advisory Board is seeking public input on the renaming of Lee Plaza. While the Board has already received several suggestions, a public hearing was held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, to offer a specific opportunity for recommendations from the public. To complement these efforts, citizens are now invited to take this survey and indicate the concept or name they favor for the Plaza. The survey results will be collected and analyzed; EEAB will make a final decision. This survey will only take a minute, and we thank you in advance for your input.
