Tabetha's Drop Top Foilayage Technique This event includes the class which outlines step by step instruction for this technique on a live model! Come spend the day with me and join #TabethasTribe! Class description: I created this technique/look with the intention of it looking like a balayage. I wanted to create that beautiful dimensional color that we get from a true hand painted look. Most of our guests want that balayage look but are not paint candidates. We need more lift so we tend to opt out of balayage. I created Drop Top Foilayage which mimics that look of balayage but it’s created in a foil using dimension and foilayage to get the lift! Drop top foilayage will most likely be your most used placement and technique behind the chair. I use this on almost every one of my guests. It’s perfect for low maintenance lived in contrasted color. "#salonreality" This technique takes out that extra step at the end, the root smudge. Why? Because we are creating the blend in our foils and with my blending rules. No need for smudging. We apply all the depth as we are creating those ribbons of brightness!
